Residential Development Within the Conservation Area
Located within the heart of the village of Stock the brief was to provide three dwellings on behalf of our client who specialise in building bespoke buildings. The site is located with the Conservation Area with listed buildings adjacent to the site therefore the design had to be considerate to the surroundings. Key to the design is the retention of an old storage barn that was converted into a living space associated with one of the new dwellings. The design was welcomed by Chelmsford City Councils Conservation Officer who especially liked the attention to detail designed into each dwellings.
